Terms of Use

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Important: Pool Project is a marketing and matching service. We are not a pool contractor and do not design, engineer, permit, inspect, build, repair, finance, or warrant pool projects.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of Pool Project. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and legally able to request work for the property or act with the property owner's permission.

2. The service

Pool Project uses the information you provide to look for one pool company that may fit your location and project. We may be paid for an introduction. A match is advertising and a potential introduction, not a recommendation, endorsement, ranking, or guarantee that the company is qualified or appropriate for you.

3. Independent pool companies

Pool companies are independent third parties, not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not control their availability, advice, estimates, prices, financing, contracts, schedules, employees, permits, safety practices, workmanship, warranties, or customer service. Any agreement for services is solely between you and the company.

4. Your due diligence

Before authorizing work or payment, verify licensing, insurance, references, complaint history, permits, plans, engineering, utility locations, payment schedules, lien rights, warranties, change-order terms, and all contract terms. Requirements vary by location. You are responsible for deciding whether to hire a company.

5. No estimates or guarantees from us

Information on the site is general and may not reflect conditions at your property. We do not guarantee a match, response, availability, price, financing, permit approval, schedule, safety, workmanship, or result. Descriptions, score tiers, and form answers are preliminary and do not replace an on-site evaluation.

6. Site and safety conditions

Pool projects may involve excavation, utilities, drainage, electrical and gas work, fencing, soil conditions, engineering, and local safety rules. Do not use this service for an emergency. Contact emergency services, utilities, or appropriate authorities when immediate safety is at issue.

7. Contact permission

When you affirmatively check the consent box and submit, you ask Pool Project and one pool company matched to your request to contact you using the method you selected about that project. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of buying services. This request does not authorize artificial- or prerecorded-voice calls or automated marketing texts; a caller must obtain any additional consent required by law. You may revoke permission for future communications at any time, including by replying STOP to texts when available.

8. Information you provide

You represent that your information is accurate, that it concerns you or a property you are authorized to act for, and that you may lawfully provide it. Do not submit another person's contact information without permission or include payment credentials, government identifiers, passwords, or unlawful content. You grant us a limited right to process and disclose your submission as described in the Privacy Policy and as needed to provide the service.

9. Acceptable use

You may not submit false or abusive requests; impersonate another person; scrape, resell, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service; bypass security controls; introduce malicious code; or use the service in violation of law or another person's rights.

10. Intellectual property

The website, branding, text, graphics, software, and other content are owned by Pool Project or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the site for your personal project request. No other rights are granted.

11. Availability and third-party links

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. The site may link to third-party websites, which are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and matching service are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pool Project will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from a pool company's acts, omissions, services, or contract. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Pool Project regarding the website and supersede earlier statements about its use.
